Ever since she broke onto the scene in 2005, she has been known for her trademark sky-high, often death defying, heels.
And after years of tottering around in the footwear, it's clear that Lady Gaga is suffering for her art.
The 27-year-old revealed what appeared to be gashes on her ankles as she stepped out in yet another pair of preposterous shoes at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in New York City on Monday night.
On both of her legs, purplish marks could be seen just above the straps of her platforms, which featured pearl embellishment and a very, very high heel and platform. However, the abrasions hardly took attention off Gaga's latest frightening look.
The singer resembled the White Witch in The Chronicles Of Narnia film with her spooky attire. She donned a white skirt and matching blazer, with a sheer high-collared blouse underneath.
The singer even wore a long blonde wig that was severely crimped, and she covered her face in white powder while opting for no mascara, giving an eerie effect. She had hardly even given her feet a rest after earlier stepping out in an equally towering pair of purple platforms.
Heading to rehearsals for her third SNL stint, she also donned a dreadlock wig and collared lavender dress.
The five-time Grammy winner had a straight blonde hair piece beneath her white tangled creation and toted a lavender purse.
Gaga - born Stefani Germanotta - accessorized her silky menswear-inspired frock with bizarre, broken spectacles.
It was all a bit much considering that the singer was just arriving at rehearsals and not performing a sketch.
'I'm at the age where you see blond hair and (breasts) and a (butt) and hear me singing about sex or fighting for gay rights, people start to roll their eyes,' Gaga told USA Today.
'But no matter what happens, I'm prepared to go down with the ship.'
She then added: 'You either like it or you don't.'
A few hours later... The singer stepped into another ensemble and swapped her huge wig for sleek locks
